Topic: Unified Communications: What? How? Why?
Please join ATP for our April meeting on
this hot topic in telecommunications. Unified communications technologies
promise to use the power of software to deliver complete communications—messaging, voice, and video—across the applications and devices that
people use every day. But what type or types of software does
unified communications require? How do the technologies work? How can
they be implemented by your organization? Perhaps most importantly, why should
you consider putting unified communications to work in your enterprise?
Speakers will include representatives from
both Nortel and Cisco, two of the leading unified communications solutions
providers worldwide. We’ll also allow time for open discussion, and welcome
input from attendees who’d like to share their questions and perspectives on
implementing unified communications. Of course, the meeting will also let you
meet and network with peers from throughout ATP’s
membership. This meeting is ideal for both telecommunications and IT
professionals. We look forward to seeing you there!
The meeting fee is $20 for members and $30 for non-members. To pre-register, visit the ATP web site at http://atp-ohio.org. And don't forget, when you pre-register before the deadline (5 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2008), your name is automatically entered in the drawing for a prize. Please register early so that we may have an accurate count for seating and lunch. Your pre-registration assists us in keeping our costs down.
