Topic: VoIP—More Than Equipment And Not Just A Four-Letter Word
The Association of Telecommunications Professionals, Inc is pleased to present its August program, to be held at the Grace Brethren Worship Center near Polaris. With Voice over IP (VoIP) topping the list of the highest-attended meetings for the last two years, this topic is still stirring the IT and Telecom community, and will continue to do so for some time. VoIP—More Than Equipment And Not Just A Four-Letter Word ... the program will present two non-hardware based solutions.
Jason Ulm, involved with network technology sales for over nine years, will address the ATP Membership with an IP-Centrex based VoIP solution from Appia Communications. In 2003 he joined Appia Communications, Inc., one of the first companies to bring converged networking to companies and organizations. He currently serves as the Regional Director of sales. Jason primary focuses on building new client and partner relationships with small and medium businesses across the US.
Appia’s IP-Centrex solution is a solution that does not require equipment or software for the customer. With Appia's IP-Centrex solutions, all you need are IP phones. You don't need to invest in a new PBX, there's no equipment or software to support, Appia also offers phone models that meet the needs of every user. Appia's flexible auto-attendant makes telecom management simpler because Appia provides a single invoice and a single, 24/7/365 point-of-contact.
Greg Bahas, Regional Senior Solutions Engineer, Sprint, will also address the ATP Membership at this meeting. Highlights of this presentation include: An IP-Centrex solution that does not require customer equipment or software; Abbreviated dialing between all locations; No PBX; How to foster a "one company culture"; Simplified telecom management; Monthly cost savings; Low-cost moves adds and changes; Free calling; A variety of hardware solutions; Core VoIP Infrastructure (IP, SIP, IMS ); Network Based approach to IP Communications (IP Centrex); Wireless Integration; and much more. So mark your calendars now for Wednesday August 9th, and plan to join us at 8:30 for coffee and lunch directly following the meeting.
The meeting fee is $20 for members and $30 for non-members. To pre-register by e-mail, respond to firstname.lastname@example.org, and include the company name and names of those who will attend. Or, to register by phone, call the ATP HOTLINE at (614) 836-4318.
